Benjamin J. Deitsch, 84, 6798 Lake Acres Dr., died Wednesday at 11 p.m. at his residence. He was born May 15, 1901 in Liberty Township, the son of John and Christina (Bollenbacher) Deitsch. On October 12, 1922, he married to Electa Eichenauer, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Lowell, Noblesville, Indiana; one daughter, Mrs. Terry (Ruth) Myers, Spicewood, Texas; one brother, Floyd, Celina; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Hoehamer, Rockford, and Mrs. Edna Bauer, Klamath Falls, Oregon; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Laurena Alt, is deceased.
A retired farmer, Mr. Deitsch was a member of Otterbein United Brethren Church.
Services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at W.H. Dick and Sons Funeral Home, Celina.
The Revs. Sylvester Martin and Mark Rutledge will officiate and burial will be in Swamp College Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 9 p.m.
