Shawn William Poe, age 55, passed away December 29, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, William Poe. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Nancy and John Giffin; sister, Kelly (George) Klechner; brothers, Eric and Brandon (Meggan) Poe; five nieces, Mandi (Brent) Stephenson, Heather (Mike) Millington, Danielle Poe, Taylor Poe, Jordan (Donnie) Sanchez; one nephew, Jaxxon Poe; and five great nieces and nephews. Shawn loved fishing and hunting, especially with his "second family", the Reeves. He loved working with anything wood from cutting trees, to using his sawmill, to making all kinds of wood products, and especially cutting boards. He loved gardening and could make anything grow. Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of service, beginning at 1 p.m. at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Ave., NW, Uniontown. Pastor Bob Cheyney will be officiating. Interment will take place privately. We kindly remind everyone upon entering the funeral home, masks or facial covering must be worn and to observe the social distancing guidelines.
