I can't be positive Laurel is buried in Mount Greenwood. The cemetery gave me the names of 12 people in the Brockway plot and one was a L.F. At first I thought that was for Louisa Brockway but understand she is not buried there. It is logical to assume that Laurel is the one and there is suppose to be a stone for him there. He is the brother of James W. Brockway, the plot owner. In additon, Laurel's twin sister's son, Robert A. Warren is buried in the plot.
Enlisted in the war 1861 , Co. G, 42 Inf. Reg of Illinois, and discharged 1862 in Missouri, stated residence as Galena, Illinois. There was a Laurel F. in Kansas in 1870, don't know if it is the same person.
