22 Oct. 1958 The Dothan Eagle: Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Friday at the Rehobeth Baptist Church for Mrs. Ada Lee Hammack, 65, of Phenix City, who died yesterday afternoon. A native of Houston County, Mrs. Hammack was a resident of Phenix City for 42 years, moving there from Dothan. Wife of the late Joseph Carlton Hammack, she was a member of the Central Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rehobeth Cemetery.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. J.R. Harris, and two sons, E.C. and G.D. Hammack, all of Phenix City; three sisters, Mrs Rosie Cherry and Mrs. J.J. Napier, both of Dothan, and Mrs Maybelle Bruner of Columbus, Ga.; and four brothers, Samuel Watford of Phenix City, Johnnie Watford of Dothan, Walter Watford of Panama City, Fla., and Travis Watford of Deland, Fla.
