Douglas Fairbanks Owen, 102 of Apex, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2021.
Doug was born on September 23, 1918 at his home in Salisbury, NC to the late, Jesse and Bessie Owen.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Owen and 14 siblings.

He is survived by his son, Michael Owen (Karen); grandsons, Scott and Gregory Owen (Christina); great-grandchildren, Anthony, Anna, Caleb, Isaiah, Rebekah and Rachel.

Family will receive friends and guests on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM at Apex Funeral Home. A burial will be held at a later date in Cincinnati, OH.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions Hospice or CureSearch for Children's Cancer.
