Michael Everett Reese, age 57, of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his home. Mike was born August 5, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of the late Jesse Everett Reese and Jacquelyn (Prather) Reese. He grew up in the Kansas City area, graduating from North Kansas City High School. He worked several jobs from driving a taxi to being a cashier at a grocery store. He moved to the Joplin area in 2003. He was a loving person who loved music and was always ready to play his guitar with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Richard Reese.
He is survived by his sister, Seena Reese and his sister-in-law Rebecca Fernandez of Santa Rosa, California; several other family members including his cousin, Tom Darrell Alexander of Saginaw, Missouri. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with inurnment of his ashes at a later date in the White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, Missouri next to his parents and brother
