Richard Lee "Rick" Perryman Sr., who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on June 11, 1954, in Mulberry, Arkansas, to the late Lawrence Perryman and Mary Hazel (Nape) Perryman. He was 67 years old. He was preceded in death by his step-mother and the one who raised him, Patsy Goodson; and a sister, Theresa Banks.
Rick worked 28 years at Whirlpool, Inc. in Fort Smith. He currently worked in the service department at Randall Ford in Fort Smith. Rick loved playing golf, hunting, and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mae Dean (Huggins) Perryman; his daughter, Misty Perryman Peters and husband Kevin of Rudy; his son, Richard Lee "Rickey" Perryman, Jr. of Van Buren; four sisters, Tina Akins of California, Tammy Spencer of Van Buren, Terry Dunaway of Florida, and Telina Leftwich of Havana; three brothers, Larry Perryman and wife Kathy of Alma, Tracy Russell of Van Buren and James Perryman of Alma; two grandchildren, Waylen Weldon and Skyler Smith.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services in Fort Smith
