A daughter of the late Lawrence Duceour and Helen (Wilson) Duceour, she was born on September 2, 1936, in Natrona Heights, PA.
Catherine was a homemaker who was also employed as a secretary for PPG Industries for a little while. She was a member of Christ The King Church in Gilpin Township and former member of Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg. Catherine was an avid dog lover who enjoyed reading and solving crossword and word search puzzles.
Survivors include two sons, Jack E. McIntire (Sue), Russell L. McIntire (Jennifer); a daughter, Teri A. Shaffer (Greg); seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Wetzel and Diane Batten (Denny).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Alvin "Jack" McIntire in October 2019; and brothers, Ronald Duceour and Lawrence "Bruz" Duceour Jr.
Interment will be in Forke Lutheran Church Cemetery, Gilpin Township, Pa.
