Kathie was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandma. But beyond that she was a world traveler, life-lesson giver, grandson snuggler, classroom helper and all around world's best mom. She loved giving her time to help others, from her time spent as the Director of Medical Records at Shriners Hospital for Children to volunteering for the WINGS program. Exploring the world by cruise as a family was her favorite thing to do, aside from simply spending time together. Kathie will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but will always have a big place in our hearts.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Russ; daughter, Colleen (Brian) Glasby; son, Alex Tonkovic; grandson, Oliver Glasby; and sister, Christine (Theodore) Bogart.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
