Susan Pauline Ritter Garrett, 43, of 437 Wilkinsville Highway, Gaffney, S.C. passed away Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, at SMC Mary Black Campus.

Born in Fort Knox, Ky., to Wayne Ritter and the late Debra Paris, she was the wife of Timothy Garrett.

In addition to her husband, Timothy, and father, Wayne, Mrs. Garrett is survived by her step-dad, Rev. Don Paris; one son, Donta Garrett, of Gaffney; two daughters, Chloe Hemphill, and Opal Garrett, both of Gaffney; one sister, Chasity (Jessie) Sadoway, of Nobblesville, In.; and one step-sister, Cassandra (Aaron) Halbersma, of Fort Sill, Ok..

She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Lynn Townsend Paris.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 16th, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Cherokee Gospel Tabernacle, 621 4th Street, Gaffney, S.C. 29340, with Rev. Richard Sellers officiating.
