Fred A. Harris, 88, of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021.

Fred is preceded by his mother Mary (nee Klamm) Roeper; his first wife Honey Lou who passed away in April of 1984; granddaughter Amira; and brother Warren Harris.

Fred is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ruth Ann (nee Hakal) Delaney Harris children Stephanie (Ronald) Busser and Tracey (Mohamad) Bachir, Loren (Mina) Delaney, Halle (Mark) Kosir, Melissa (Kevin) Stockdale; grandchildren Kailey (Nick) Purpera, Kelsey Bachir, Sean (Rachel) Stockdale, Brian Bachir, Andrew Stockdale, Michael Delaney, Brendan Stockdale, Leila Bachir, Matthew Delaney, Gianna Kosir, Maria Delaney, Anthony Kosir; great-grandson Vincent Stockdale; sisters in law Norma (the late Nick) and partner Tom, Carol (Joe), late Cathy (Jim), Late Susan (Roger), Mary Lou (Jack), Elizabeth (Louie); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Fred was a proud Marine who served during the Korean Conflict. After his discharge from the Marines, Fred worked at NASA until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outside and playing sports. Skiing, bowling, golfing, and softball were a few of his favorites. Fred also was an excellent wood worker. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida with Ruth Ann for over 20 years. His favorite time of year was going to the Harris Delaney family reunions in the cabins of Salt Fork State Park. He will be missed because of his good sense of humor, kind heart, and warm smile.

Fred will be dearly missed by so many.

Visitation will be held at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted 44070 on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 4pm until 7pm
