Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Edward Monk and Vera Belle Soper Monk; brothers, Leo, AL, Art; sister, Ida; children, Marshall Monk and Mary Monk Resseguie. Robert is survived by his sons, Mark (Mary) Monk, Marlin Monk; daughters, Marla Monk (Jim) Benefield, Marva Monk. He is also survived by his four grandchildren; tow great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Dunklin Funeral Home is handling preparation of Mr. Monk. Mr. Monk will be laid to rest next to his children Maple Grove Cemetery in Free Soil, Michigan a graveside service will be held with close family and friends.
