Arthur Allen Moore, 80 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020.

He was born on October 17, 1939 and was preceded in death by his mother Ethel Wrenn Cummings and his son Art Moore.

He retired from Merita Bread Company and worked part time with Fisher Auto Parts. Arthur was loved by all and never met a stranger and was an avid golfer and loved to play pool. He was one of a kind and a great role-model to his sons and grandsons and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Brenda E. Moore; his son Eric Moore and his wife Lisa of Huntersville, NC; his two grandsons Colton Moore of Raleigh, NC and Zach Moore of Huntersville, NC; his step grandson, Ben Langolf and his step granddaughter, Kaitlyn Longolf both of Winston Salem, NC; his daughter-in-law, Karen Moore of Raleigh, NC and his uncle, Alton Wrenn of Mechanicsville, VA.

Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids on Sunday October 4, 2020 at 2pm with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
