Mrs. Pauline G. Meis, 89, a resident of St. Francis Home, died today, June 10, 1988, at the home.

She was born in Luxemburg, Iowa, on Jan. 5, 1899, a daughter of John and Gertrude Pasker Gosen. On June 22, 1932, she married Bernard Meis at St. Mary's Church, Lomira.

Mrs. Meis was a member of St. Mary's Church, Fond du Lac, and the church's Altar Society.

Survivors include two sons, Norman and his wife Bernice of Lomira, and Henry and his wife Renate of Beaver Dam; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Donahue and Mrs. John (Dorothy) Abler, both of Fond du Lac; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Gosen of Luxemburg, Iowa; and two sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Emma) Friedman of Manchester, Iowa, and Miss Frances Gosen of Luxemburg. Preceding her in death were her husband, one daughter, one sister and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Zacherl Funeral Home, and at noon at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Alois Van Beek will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lomira.

Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials in her name may be directed to St. Francis Home.
