He enjoyed woodworking in his free time, and made hutches, cabinets, beds, and toy boxes for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Clarence*. He is survived by his wife, Connie; her four children, Diane Carol (Richard Ross), Stacy Rae (James Eugene), Tory Ann (Brian Guy) and Nicole Lee (Jesse Charles); her grandchildren, Jamee Marie (Brett Joseph), Ashely Nell (Anthony James), Zachary Darwin, Alexander Michael, Ashton Darwin, Payton Purl, Jordyn Jessi, and Drake Darwin; her great grandchildren, Ella Kay, Bennett William, Andrew James and Maverick Ross; his sister Helen Brinkman (Del Brinkman); nieces, Cindy Brinkman (children, Ashley, Kali, Dayton, Hanna, Jaxon), Sandy Lindstrom and husband, Brian Lindstrom (children, Nathan and Cody), and Tammy Murray and husband, John Murray; and nephew, Kevin Cross.
