Stephanie graduated from Fairdale High School in 1987. She had a 34 year career at United Parcel Service and most recently served as an aircraft marshal. Stephanie's eyes were fixed on Jesus. She was a member of the Lord's Chapel and was a passionate evangelical. She was anointed with an angelic voice, and ministered through song, in conversation, and even through Facebook videos. Her wish was for everyone to have an opportunity to be close to the Lord so she shared her personal testimony and the Good News with all. She was blessed with a creative mind and her artistic abilities were seen in all she did: designing jewelry, creating wreaths, lanterns, and floral masterpieces. She also took pride in gardening at home and for her church, but thoroughly enjoyed her vacations - especially to the ocean.
Her proudest accomplishment was her daughter, Brooke. She continuously sacrificed and dedicated her life to rearing her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Eric Gibbons, and a nephew, Joshua Gibbons.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, David Johnson; her daughter, Patton Brooke Saylor; her sisters, Tammy Coats (Greg), Denise Powell (Mike), Deborah Arnold (Susan Sams) all of Louisville; her brothers, Charles Curtis "Chuck" Farmer (Tammy) of Pleasant View, Tennessee; Dennis DeVore, Sr. (Deb), Darrell DeVore (Debby), Tony DeVore (Lora) all of Louisville; her mother and father-in-law, Linda and Bill Johnson of Mount Washington; her aunt, Agnes Wheeler, of Cave City; her cousin, Tracey Toms, of Bowling Green: her former spouse, Hank Saylor; her very special daughter, Stephanie Conforti; and a large extended family including her work family.
Funeral services will be12 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
