He graduated from Northside High School in 1971 where he played football and ran track. After graduating High School he went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad were he later retired and he came out of retirement and worked for Trane until 2015 when he retired.
His father Willie Gene Adams Sr., his mother Mattie Lee Adams and his sister Dana B. Adams preceded him in death.
He leaves to treasure his memory 4 sons Craig L. Adams (Oklahoma), Marcus J. Adams (Texas), Eric E. Adams (Missouri), and Anthony G. Adams (Oklahoma) 2 sisters Gail Adams (Arkansas) and Joanna Adams, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Scott, Dajin Holmes, Herbert McGill, Anthony Travis, Kevin Gordon and Cozax Lee. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.
