"My life is not ending, it is just beginning". Donald Foster Ⅲ (58) entered his new life on 10/1/2021.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald A. Foster, Jr.; his grandparents, Clyde and Jessie-Faye Drafts; his grandparents, Donald A. Foster, Sr. and Marian Foster and his nephew, Anthony E. Foster. He is survived by his daughter, Makayla Foster; his mother, Eleanor Drafts Foster; his brother, Brian Foster (Terri); his aunt, Nila Balentine and several cousins.

Donald always loved the outdoors, he loved adventures, camping, going on hikes, and pretty much anything outside. He loved going out for late nights with friends, and was involved in many communities including the church, AA meetings, and his friends from his motorcycle group. Donald loved late night drives with his daughter, Makayla and her friends. He was a very enthusiastic Carolina fan and rarely missed watching a game. Throughout his years he did a lot of work with his brother, Brian. They were inseparable no matter what issue they had. Donald loved playing pranks on the rest of his family. Donald loved helping others and was always there to offer a helping hand.

A visitation will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072 followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, honoring her father's wish for Makayla's education to happen, donations would be helpful and appreciated and may be mailed to Makayla Foster c/o Eleanor Foster, PO Box 891, Lexington, SC 29071 where they will be deposited at South State Bank. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family.

Foster was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, and charged with attempted murder and second-degree burglary.
