Kimberly Cason Johnston, age 52 of Hawkins, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at her home in Hawkins. She was born November 15, 1968, in San Bernardino, California to the late Kenneth William and Nancy Lee (Funderburk) Cason. Kimberly has lived in Hawkins for the past 6 years and was previously of Mineola, Texas. She was a member of the House of Prayer Church in Dallas and was a loving homemaker. Kimberly enjoyed crafting, playing bingo, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vonda Straus. Kimberly is survived by husband, Tommy Sharp of Mineola, Texas; children, Wesley Johnston and wife, Alexandra of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Cason Johnston of Hawkins, Texas; brother, Kenneth Cason Jr. of Arizona; sister, Kelly Ragan and husband, Barry of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; grandchildren, Paisley, River, Reese, and Peyton Johnston; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. A gathering of friends will be held at a later date.
