She was employed at Lexington ARC in Johnstown for fourteen years, caring for residents as direct support staff.
Heather was a member of VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary, both in Broadalbin.
She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, and photography and loved capturing special moments with family and friends. Hunting with her Dad was a favorite pastime and spending time with family was most important.
Survivors include her children, Hunter Thompson, Holly Shutts, and Hayden Shutts; her father, Donald Bailey of Hagaman; her mother, Carolyn Bailey of Broadalbin; two brothers, Jamie Hayes and Shawn Bailey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
