Kevin Maurice Reed, welder and resident of Oklahoma City, OK, succumbed to severe injuries on September 19, 2021, due to a massive heart attack. He was 54 years.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Dorothy Reed; his life partner LaTricia Daniels-Reed; his daughter Ikisha Reed; his grandchildren JaiMarion Cook, I'Mani and I'Mari Hudson; his siblings Charles Jackson, Michael Jackson, Gloria Tillman, and Juanita Reed; his five nieces and seven nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Keith Reed.

Kevin (aka Mikey's Lil brother) was born in Topeka on August 10, 1967, to Dorothy Jean Blackwell and William Thomas Reed. He was a loving son, life partner, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Besides spending time with his family, Kevin had a passion for cars. Although very soft-spoken, he had a great sense of humor as the family "jokester." Kevin truly touched the lives of those close to him with his generosity and loyalty. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and those who know him.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Topeka Cemetery, 1601 SE 10th St.
