Our loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully at New Hope Bay Assisted Living on Friday, October 1, 2021 with her family by her side at the age of 86 years. She was born to the late Elmer and Louise Schott on February 24, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan. She married Hartley Anderson, on January 9, 1980, they celebrated 25 years of marriage before his passing in June 2005. Eva retired from United Technologies; she was a Member of St Alban's Church. She was an avid reader and in her retirement years, she also worked at the Pinconning Library. She loved playing bingo, working on puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

Eva is survived by her children, Linda (Dave) Hoffman, Donald (Susanne) Amthor, Robert (Donna) Amthor, Thomas (Dori) Amthor, and Kenneth (Linda) Amthor; grandchildren, Joseph (Nanette) Hoffman, Anthony (Elise) Hoffman, Jacob Hoffman, Katie (Tim) Barber, Anna (Matt) Petcher, Christy (Matt) Herber, Jessica (Tim) Bosley, Ashley (Eric) Varty, James (Heather) Amthor, Jeremy (Brenda) Amthor, Joshua Amthor, Jenae (Kevin) Wojciechowski, Jamie Jo (Anthony) Rytlewski, Jordan (Irelda) Amthor, Josiah (Emmalee) Amthor, Jillian (Daniel) Moreau, Jeffrey (Dana) Amthor, Johannah (Josh) Sinke, Jonathan Amthor, Jonah Amthor, Nicholas Amthor, Robyn Amthor and Brandon (Loquecia) Amthor; fifty seven great grandchildren; siblings, Allen (Geraldine) Schott, Neil Schott, Elmer (Roxanne) Schott and Susan Schott; sister-in-law, Nina Schott; brother-in-law, Richard Koth; and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Eva is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Schott; sisters, Joan Koth and Fern Schott.

The family would like to send a special Thank You to the caring staff members of New Hope Bay and Heart and Heart Hospice.

Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Officiating will be Rev. Nancy Mayhew with private entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive visitors on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to St. Alban's Episcopal Church.
