HUNTSVILLE -- John Ramsey, 68, of Huntsville died Dec. 5, 2007. He was born Jan. 13, 1939, in Broken Arrow, Okla., to Clarence Ramsey and Amyl Skaggs Cavanaugh. He was a member of Living Water Baptist Church and was a barber.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Jones Ramsey of the home; two sons, Jeff Ramsey and wife Lyndie and Jeremy Ramsey and wife Carlene, all of Huntsville; two brothers, Jack Ramsey and Joe Ramsey, both of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Mary Jane Rains of Pensacola, Fla.; four grandsons.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Gary Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in Marshall Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Garrett, Rick Bohannan, Dean Martin, Phillip Morgan, Garry Thompson and Phil Thompson.

Honorary pallbearers will be W.Q. Hall, John Vines, Fuller Holt, Bill Whitely, Ronnie Mullines, Jerry Whittmore, Steve Hale, Jessie Parker and Robert Caler.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will be present.
