Pioneer Woman Dies Mobeetie

Mrs. Sarah Frances Corcoran, 64-year-old pioneer resident of Mobeetie, was laid to rest in the Mobeetie Cemetery Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted from the Mobeetie Baptist church with Rev. B.L. Higdon, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Jim Burkham of Nash, Okla.

Mrs. Corcoran who has been a resident of Mobeetie for the past 48 years, died Monday night in the Wheeler Hospital after a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, P.P. Corcoran; five daughters, Mrs. J.F. Hanning, Mrs. E.W. Riley and Miss Clara Corcoran, all of Mobeetie, and Mrs. C.H. Keeton and Mrs. J.C. Trusty, both of Lefors; five sons, J.B., Phil, Charles, Ariza and Williams, all of Mobeetie.
