Bessemer City – Margaret Ann Roberts Norris, 82 passed away on October 3, 2021 at her granddaughters.
She was born in Cleveland County on August 21, 1939 to the late Joe Thomas and Lois Selma Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Robert McCutcheon; siblings, Charlie, Dude, William Joe, Pauline, Frances, Linda and Betty; and her niece, Sandra Hodge.
Margaret was an avid Carolina Panthers Fan and UNC Tarheel Fan. She enjoyed her trips to the mountains of TN enjoying Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. She also enjoyed eating out at Cracker Barrell any opportunity she could. Most of all, she enjoyed walking and playing with her grandbabies.
Survivors include her children, Gary Norris (Lisa), Donna Mullins (Bobby), Debra McCutcheon (David); grandchildren, Michael (Shayla) McCutcheon, Jon Matthew (Heather) McCutcheon, Shelley (Walt), Tiffany Mullins, Jessica (Jacob) Mullins, Shelby Norris, Kristen (Taylor) Melton, great grandchildren, apple of her eye, Baby Jude, Chris, Nathaniel, Unique, Asher, Zach, Anna, Jaxon, Ryan and Misty; great-great grandchildren, Liam, Elijah, Neveaha, Haven, Brantley, Ethan and Stephen; brother, Grady (Debbie) Roberts; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 6th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Etchison officiating.
