JESSE FRANKLIN HILL
Jesse Franklin Hill, 74, of Bramwell died Monday, May 4, 1954 at his home. He was a retired miner.
He was born June 14, 1879 in Bramwell and was the son of the late Felix Shelton and Nancy Ellen Dixon Hill. He was also preceded by his former wife, Annie Maude McBride Hill Cumby on March 22, 1954.
Survivors include six daughter: Mrs. Harry ( Alma Louise) Goodson, Mrs. Edward (Mamie Lee) Bailey, Mrs. Robert (Jessie Frances) Eller and Mrs. Don (Ency) Allen, all of Bramwell and Mrs. Charles (Charlotte) Boyd of Waltham, Ma.; three sons, Hugh, Clifton and Lindy Hill all of Bramwell; two sisters, Sessie and Nora Hill both of Bramwell; one brother, John W. Hill, of Roanoke, Va. and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Pilgrim Holiness Church at Bramwell, by the Rev. Curtis B. Cox.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The men's class of the Pilgrim Holiness Church will be pallbearers and granddaughters and friends will be flower bearers.
The body will be taken to the church at noon from the Craven's Funeral Home.
