Dollie May Mullins Jackson, age 77, of Jewell Ridge, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in Abingdon, Virginia, following a brief illness.
She was born March 1, 1944, in Virginia and was the daughter of the late Harvey Mullins and Nannie Loma Elswick Mullins. She was a former seamstress for Eastern Isles and also devoted her life to caring for her family. She was a lifelong resident of the area and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ira "Jack" Jackson, Jr., and her son-in-law, Ronnie Reedy.

Sister, Loretta Cook, and husband, Arlin of Richlands, VA

Great-grandchildren, John Parker Osborne, Brayden Dunkley, Dekota Jace Farmer, Allie Harrison, Brenley Reedy, Raelyn Dunkley, Skylun Farmer, Kylun Farmer, Piper Osborne, Kinsley Reedy, and Phenix Farmer.
The funeral service for Dollie Jackson will be at noon on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with the Revs. Stephen Boyd and Arlin Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will be on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 beginning at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
