FAMILY SEARCH. When Trine Or Olivia Olsen was born on 26 August 1866, in Rakkeby, Børglum, Denmark, her father, Andrew Or Anders Peter Olsen (1832-1928), was 34 and her mother, Ane Johanna Mortensen (1832-1877), was 34. She died on 12 August 1867, in Nebraska and was buried there.

MORMON PIONEER OVERLAND TRAIL. The Olsen family ... Andrew Peter (1832-1928), Ane Johanna Mortensen (1832-1877), Ane Marie (1853-1919), Anna Kirstena (1851-1946), Martina Andersdatter (1857-1932), Morten (1865-1867), Ole K (1862-1918), Trine (1866-1867) and Caroline Margaret Mortensen (1850-1935), was traveling with the Olsen family as their nanny ... were traveled with the Leonard G. Rice Company. Starting at the outfitting post at North Platte, Nebraska (the Western Terminus of the Union Pacific Railroad) this independent train of about 500 individual and 50 wagans began its journey on August 11, 1867 and arrived in the Salt Lake Valley on October 5, 1867.

Research indicates that perhaps Morten (Martin) died prior to the departure of the company and Trine died the day following departure.
