Mr. Green was born May 23, 1929, in Ringgold, Okla. He was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. Everett married Mae Green on March 8, 1950, who preceded him in death in 1990. They moved to Amarillo in 1955. Everett was a paint contractor for more than 60 years.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin; three sisters, Shirley Anne, Mary Jean and Susie Spears; and a son, Michael.
Survivors include a daughter, Becky Lauer; a brother, Austin Green; two sisters, Daphine Troutman and Evelyn Johnson; four grandchildren, Jon, Justin, Jamie and Jennifer; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
