Obituary received from C. Burnett (thank you Claudia), which she found in the Long Beach Press, dated 15 December 1911:
"Died on December 14, 1911 at Piru, Ventura County. Age: 32 years. Survived by her husband (Joseph) and relatives in Long Beach. Buried at Signal Hill Cemetery."
From a statement made by her daughter, Mary Louise Freeby, in my Dad's adoption paperwork: Mary died of "quick consumption" which is an old medical term for tuberculosis.
