Spouse-- Ray Gilman Veazey, who came from a New Englander family, that, two generations earlier, still called itself Veasey, with an S. His father was Daniel Barber Veazey, who began shifting to the Z spelling at his service in the Civil War, went to Hematite, Missouri to teach and then be a court clerk, duties once including supervising the local collection in Missouri of the US Census.

Children-- One who died as an infant. The other, Adelaide Louise Veazey, became a legal secretary. She married John Carpenter Hagar, a mortgage broker. At least two grandchildren from their relationship, beginning with twin boys.

Parents --Saba Adelaide Selleck, aka Addie, b. Kansas, and John Gough Warr, b. Bristol England.

Saba was John's second wife, giving him three daughters. John had first left England to set-up business in southeast Wales (Prembrokeshire, at a town in St. Mary Parish).

There he met and married Caroline Rees, only three children surviving to make the trip to NY .
