Memorial set up from Iowa Death Certificate, Iowa Cemetery Records, Marriage and Census Records. She was the Daughter of Orren Burright and Eliza Jane Cavett. She is often found by her nickname of Jennie in Public records. There is some confusion as to her DOB as her death certificate states 27 June 1848. Census records show 1847, 1848 and 1850. She is not listed with the family in the 1850 Census, however her brother Orrin born in Sept 1848 is listed. It does Not seem reasonable that she could have been born in June 1848 and not be included in the census, as well as a bit unusual for her to be born in June and her brother to be born in Sept of the same year of the same mother. The 1850 Census record was taken 12 December, however it only included persons who were members of the family before 1 June 1850. If Eliza was born on 27 June 1850, she would Not have been listed on this Census. The 1860 US Census shows her age 9 as of 1 June 1860. The 1900 US Census shows her birth as May 1850. She is listed twice in the 1930 Census Records - once in Palermo, Grundy County, Iowa with Daughter Carolina Stuck as age 82 (1848) born in Ohio and once in Nashville, Martin County, Minnesota with Son Fred as age 80 (1850) born in Iowa. So there is confusion even between the children. Comparing the information found at this time, it seems more likely that she was born 27 June 1850.
