"Cecil Bratcher, 63, Jarbalo, Kas., near Leavenworth, Kas., formerly of Clay County, died yesterday at the home. He was born in Yosemite, Ky., and had lived in Jarbalo a year. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Chandler Baptist Church in Clay County. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Viola Bratcher, and a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Seuser, both of the home, another daughter, Mrs. Roberta Reece of Sunflower, Kas.; five brothers, H. V. Bratcher of 4326 Warwick boulevard, C. I. Bratcher of 4509 N.E. 44th Terrace, and E. E. Bratcher, Raymond Bratcher and James Bratcher of Liberty; and five sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Faye Bennett of 4401 N.E. 46th Terrace, North, Mrs. Clarice Ross of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Ruby Robinson of Liberty, Mrs. Julia Rogers of Garden City in Cass County, and Mrs. Alma Bogart of Kingston, Mo.; and five grandchildren. Services will be a 2 o'clock Monday at the Winwood Baptist Church; burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens cemetery." The Kansas City Star, January 12, 1969
