William M. "Bill" Terry, 77, passed away on October 1, 2021, he resided in Indianapolis. Bill was born on January 27, 1944 in Burnside, Kentucky.
Bill graduated in 1962. In the 60's Bill loved drag racing. He worked for 32 years at Rand McNalley and as a journeyman pressman at the Indianapolis Star and News.
He loved riding his Harley and spending time with his grandkids. Bill will be dearly missed.
Bill is survived by his son, Darrin Terry; daughter, Melissa Ford; grandchildren, Lena Marie Terry, Darrin Terry, Brian Ford Amber Ford, Jeffrey Shackelford and Hannah Shackelford; sisters, Brenda Ramey and Caroline Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lena Marie (Payne) Terry and Robert Lee Terry; siblings, Norman Terry, Zora Dixon, Mildred Terry, Johnny Terry, Harold Terry, and Wayne Terry; grandmother, Rachel Guffey; and grandfather, John Robert Terry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Bill will be laid to rest in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Wanamaker, IN.
