Joseph Howard Jenkins, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away October1, 2021 at Intermountain Medical Center. Joe was born February 25, 1940 to John (Jack) and Helen Jenkins in Salt Lake City, he spent his childhood growing up in the avenues of Salt Lake. He graduated from West High School and attended Westminster, Weber College and the University of Utah. Joe served a mission to Holland for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Betsy Brewer in the Salt Lake Temple on December 27, 1963. Joe and Betsy have lived in South Jordan since 1990.
Joe was a lifelong insurance agent who really cared about his clients. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Survived by his wife Betsy Jenkins, daughter Julie Jenkins, son Matt (Angela) Jenkins, grandchildren Isabella, Aidan and Jack Jenkins, Jesse Christensen, and Ashley Jenkins, great grandchildren Paetyn and Maddyx Green, and Ayethian Jennings, sister Mary Jenkins Whitechurch, brother Richard Jenkins. Preceded in death by daughter Jill Jenkins, parents John and Helen Jenkins and brother Mac Jenkins.
