Steven was born on May 23, 1957, in Oshkosh. Steven resided in Oshkosh for 46 years and relocated to North Port, Florida from July 2003 to June 2019. The last two years of his life he resided in Fond Du Lac so he could be closer to family and friends.
He was a loving and devoted husband and wed the former Donna Luedtke on March 21, 1987. He graduated from Oshkosh North High School and worked at a very young age. He was a successful entrepreneur and ran a cleaning company known what started out as Wagner's Clean World and changed its name to Badger Cleaning and Restoration for 28 years. He sold that business in 2003 when he relocated to Florida and there, he started practicing real estate and continued until he was 64.
Steven was a caring, kind, genuine, loving, hardworking, outgoing man. Who was a jokester that had a real sense of humor and was always ready to take on a challenge. He enjoyed watching and playing football, the packers were his favorite. He enjoyed shooting hoops, biking, fishing, cutting grass, swimming, renovating and the center of his attention were his grandchildren. Steven was a one of a kind and left an imprint on those who he had met or has known him. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Steven is survived by, and his memory will be cherished by his wife, Donna; three daughters, Kristi (Joshua), Katie, Kimberli all of Fond Du Lac, two sons, Kody of North Port, Florida, and Kevin of Fond Du Lac. He is survived by 4 siblings, Victoria Sardinas, Cynthia (Lance) Schaefer, Michael Wagner, and James Wagner, 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Leonard "Chummy" and Jacqueline Wagner, grandparents; Frank Leroy "Sparky" and Mary Ann (Yanko) Wagner, Frank and Adeline (Sphatt) Heyer, a brother, Richard F. Wagner and others.
A celebration of life service will held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 3 pm in the Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Ave. in Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
