Ronnie was born in Kingstree on February 22, 1946, and was the son of Alberta Owens Brown and Daniel Ralph Brown. He was married to his late wife Mary McClary Brown for 37 years until her passing in 2015. Ronnie was an Army Veteran serving his country in the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated employee of Farmers Telephone Company for more than 3 decades and after retirement went back to work at McAllister Motors, now LKQ. His legacy is one of hard work, integrity, kindness, and Christ like servitude. Ronnie was a loving husband and grandfather and leaves behind more beloved friends and family than we could name.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife Mary McClary Brown, parents, Alberta Owens Brown and Daniel Ralph Brown, mother and father-in-law Bill and Mae Dell McClary, siblings, Daniel "Danny" Brown, Lorraine Brown Carson, Hazel Brown and Kenneth "Kenny" Brown, brother-in-law Bill Holliday, as well as his best friend of more than 55 years David Stillinger.
