Mrs. White was born in Moore County on February 2, 1932, to the late Luther E. English and Mary Elizabeth Caddell English. She was preceded in death by her husband's Homer Quick, Curtis McDowell and Norman White, her daughter Cathy Quick, her siblings Frances Blue, Ruth Foor, Ruby Martin, Robert English, and Reid English.
She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was an avid Gardner, loved to cook for the family, her specialty was roast beef, mashed potatoes and homemade biscuits. Louise loved decorating for Christmas. She also collected salt and pepper shakers from around the world.
She is survived by a son Ray Quick (Frances) of Raeford, NC; a daughter Shirley Obenauf (Marv) of ID; a special stepdaughter Gail M. Beasley (Larry) of Sanford, another stepdaughter Kathy McDowell of AK, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren; two sisters Peggy Jolly and Carolyn Walters; two brothers Gene English and David English.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, October 1, 2021, at the Raeford Cemetery with Pastor Trent Haywood officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
