With deep sadness we announce the quiet passing of our beloved mother. Joan was born in Stonehurst, Pennsylvania to Dorothy and Henry Goss and was one of 7 siblings. She most recently lived with her daughter Joan in Clifton Heights, PA at the time of her passing. There is so much we are thankful for; words could not express. She had a loving impact on so many lives. We will always miss her love, her smile, her kind heart, and don't forget the homemade fudge and rice pudding! She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene R. Peters Sr., son Eugene R. Peters Jr., and grandsons Alexander Peters and Thomas Peters. She is survived by her children Joan D. Peters; Donna Siddell; Brian Peters(Colleen); daughter Sharon Morris (John); 11 grandchildren, Scott Peters (Nikki); Kevin Peters (Carolyn); Kyle Siddell; Michael Siddell; Lindsay Castro; Noah Peters; Joshua Peters; Jeremiah Peters; Samuel Peters; Olivia Peters; Rachael Moyer (Joshua); and Courtney Papatsiaras (Nicholas); and 6 great grandchildren, Talyor Peters; Aubrey Peters; Nathan Peters; Rosalyn Peters; Kenley Moyer; and Dimitri Papatsiaras. Joan is also survived by her sister Judith Gottschall and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services followed by burial are to be held at the Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery at 2900 State Road in Drexel Hill on Wednesday 6th of October 2021, visitation at 10:00 a.m., Service at 11:00 a.m.
