The many friends of Councilman John Allen and his wife, Eleanor, will be grieved to learn that Jessie Pearl, their beloved daughter, died yesterday at her home in the Fifteenth Ward, aged 17 years and 3 months. Typhoid fever was the cause of her demise.
She was a bright young lady and gave promise of becoming a fascinating and lovely woman. The parents and friends are heartbroken over the event.
The funeral will take place from the Fifteenth ward meeting house tomorrow at 12:30. The friends of the family are invited to attend.
