Barry was deeply loved by his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Debbie Davis. Daughters Ashlea Manser (33) of Hendersonville, TN, and Kara Anne Davis (23) of Birmingham, AL. Grandson John Hayden Manser. Sister Leighanne Brown of Murfreesboro, TN. Sister-in-law T. Deanna and husband Ron Corzatt of Smyrna, TN. Brother-in-law Donnie Shelton of Smyrna, TN. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Barry was a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary of Louisville, KY. Barry was a pastor of 25 years at the following churches: Miracle Baptist of LaVergne, TN; Eastern Gate Baptist of Shepherdsville, KY; Cleveland Road Baptist of Bogart, GA; Madison First Baptist of Madison, TN. He had a love and fire for the Lord and loved ministering to others. He went on two mission trips to share the gospel one in Upper Volta, Africa and the other in Anchorage, Alaska. Barry was an avid runner and Georgia Bulldogs fan. He had a passion for photography and enjoyed sharing his love of photography with others. Barry enjoyed spending his Saturday mornings golfing with friends.
