Austin Chance Hobbs, 24, of Bloomington passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Bloomington at his home. He was born on September 3, 1997 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Jeff J. Hobbs and Keri L. Thickstun (Decker).

Austin attended Bloomington High School South. He enjoyed playing video games, loved animals, especially his dog Diablo, helping his grandfather out on his property, and he loved his family and enjoyed his time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Austin is survived by his mother, Keri (Tim) Decker of Bloomington; his brothers, Nathan (Hailee) Hobbs of Kansas; Tyler Crouch of Bloomington; Thomas Decker of Bloomington; Colton Flynn of Bloomington; grandparents, Bill & Linda Hobbs of Bloomington; Kevin & Sherrie Swafford of Harrodsburg; two great grandmothers, Mildred Clark of Bloomington; Linda Hartgraves of Bloomington; many aunt and uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Hobbs, and his great grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old St Rd 37 Bloomington. With Rev. David Weil officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the funeral home. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
