Michael A. Garcia, age 58 passed away at his home on Friday (Oct 1, 2021) surrounded by his loving family.
Surviving are two sons Christopher Garcia & his wife Jennifer of Ogdensburg, Cody Garcia and his girlfriend Jocolyn Scott of Ogdensburg; a daughter Amanda Gonzalez & her husband Joey of Central Square; grandchildren Alicia Garcia and her girlfriend Erin Tooley of Central Square, Christopher Garcia & his wife Rachel of Ogdensburg, Serena Copeland, Destiny Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez and Mariah Gonzalez all of Central Square; great-granddaughter Amelia Dae Garcia; two brothers Joey Garcia of Ogdensburg, Vincent Rudolph of Washington; two sisters Teresa Sanchez & her husband Mike of Redding, CA Adrian Garza & her husband Robert of California; and his longtime companion Shellie Johnson of Las Vegas, NV along with many nieces, nephews & cousins.
A sister Samantha Guitron predeceased him.
Michael was born on November 27, 1962 in the Bronx, a son of George & Ada (Bross) Rudolph.
He attended Rowland Heights High School in California, and began his long time relationship with Shellie Johnson in 1975 "the love of his life, and mother of his children". The couple separated in 2002, but remained good friends.
During Michael's career, he worked as a general contractor for Rudolph's & Son's Construction in Colton, CA. He enjoyed listening to music, riding his bicycle, target shooting, hunting and fishing. Michael enjoyed the simple things in life and was very proud of his family. He also took great pride in helping those less fortunate. He also enjoyed having a beer and surfing.
