After graduating from Neshaminy High School in 1957 he enlisted in the Navy. Jack proudly served aboard submarines throughout his 20 years of service; at the time of his retirement he had earned the rank of Chief Quartermaster. Jack's career path led him to Crown, Cork & Seal where he was employed as a Manufacturing Engineer. Jack owned & operated his own business, Tioga Electric, originally located in Philadelphia then relocated to Trevose, PA where he could be closer to his loved ones and hobbies.
Jack married his childhood sweetheart, and became the loving & devoted husband to Nancy (Woodson) McKinley for 59 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two loving sons; Marc (Leslie Longaker) and Michael (Karen); his grandchildren Marc Ryan, Christopher (Kate), and Melissa who affectionately called him pop-pop. He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Joan (late Tim) McCurry, his sister Donna (Robert) Varkoyni along with his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and all his pets.
Jack was a passionate football & baseball coach in the LSAA organization for over a decade where he positively influenced and mentored not only his own sons but countless others. In addition to coaching, Jack was a classic car and model train enthusiast.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of his life on Monday October 11, 2021 at Campbell & Thomas Funeral Home, 905 2nd Street Pk., Richboro, PA 18954. Visitation from 10:30am - 12:00 noon, Service starting at noon, followed by Interment with military honors at 2:00PM precisely in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
