Roney, Frank H. 70-year-old farmer and stockman, Barnard died at 3:45 am today at the St Francis Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday.

Born July 12, 1891, at Quitman, the son of the late Peter F. and Agnes Scanlon Roney, he had resided all of his life in Nodaway County. He was married Apr 23, 1920, to Margaret Hefferon, who survives. Mr Roney was a member of St Gregory's Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs Austin Echterling, Colorado Springs, Colo; a brother, Emmett Roney, Maryville, and four grandchildren.

Fr John Stack will say the requiem mass at 10 am Monday at St Gregory's Church. Burial will be in St Patrick's Cemetery.
