STADNYK, Dobronyka Margaret Albina (nee Roslinski) Dobronyka Margaret Albina Stadnyk (nee Roslinski) passed away on February 4, 1019 with loved ones by her side. After 93 wonderful years of life devoted to her family and her church. Margaret's greatest joy was her family! She loved to teach her children and grandchildren how to make perogies and supported each one in their pursuits. She believed in prayer and was active in all church activities. She initiated the first St. Basil's Church library and received a pin for her 50 plus years with the UCWL. She liked embroidery, especially on her granddaughter's Ukrainian dance outfits, and she enjoyed making and giving quilts to family members. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Protodeacon Michael; her son David; her parents Peter and Frances Roslinski; her four brothers and six sisters and their spouses. Celebrating her life and cherishing her memory are her children: Joanne Stadnyk; Andrew (Lois) and children Jacob (Meghan) and son Leo; Leah (Chad) Pearson and sons Michael, Andrew and Jack; Rachel (Jamie) Risebrough and daughters Alexa and Lauren; Vanessa (Curtis Bradford); Debbie; granddaughter Fawn (Chris) Marchuk and children Zaquary, Macayle, Dylan and Teagan; Carol Stadnyk-Orchison (Doug) and daughter Jessica (Joshua) Amato and son Landon; Lois Yee (Lee Hendry) and daughters Kendra (Ken) Lavas and children Ethan, Owen and Grace; Nicole (Chad Lys) and son Benjamin; Dana Yee. Margaret is also survived by her sister Frances Pearson. Family would like to thank the staff at Royal Oaks Personal Care Home and staff on 4D at Santa Maria Nursing Home for lovingly caring for Margaret. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Friday, February 15, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be Celebrated at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1757 Toronto St., Regina, SK on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to St. Basil's for support of orphans in the Ukraine or please simply do an act of kindness for someone in need in honor of Margaret.
