Billy Worley
1937-2021

Bill Worley, age 84 made his journey to his heavenly home on Thursday, September 30th.

He was a native of the Beaverdam Community in Canton and resided in Clyde at the time of his passing. Bill was a kind and generous man who was always very willing to help anyone in need. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren immensely. Throughout their lives, he was an inspiration and an influence that was cherished by all of them. He knew no strangers and loved to joke and bring humor into conversations with anyone. Other loves of Bill's was to be outdoors, working around his home place, and riding motorcycles with his friends. He was employed at Champion international from 1977 until 2004. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church where he was very active and loved to show his faith and minister to others through singing in the choir and with small groups.

He was preceded in death by his son Bill Worley,Jr., his mother and father, George and Thelma Scott Worley, and his two brothers Donald and Lewis Worley all of Canton.

Surviving are his wife, Audrey Banks Worley, two daughters Dawn Hyatt and Martha Early; three grandchildren Amber Hannah and husband Steve, Joshua Early, Luke Early and his wife Mandy; and seven great grandchildren, Billy and Heath Hannah, Ethan, Emily, and Josh Early, and Levi and Kamdon Early.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date.
