Dolores Kopochinski, aged 78, passed away suddenly on September 17, 2016 at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg.

Dolores leaves to mourn her husband of 55 years; her two daughters and a granddaughter.

When God made Dolores, he broke the mold! She was many things - a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, a voracious bingo player, smoker, reader, bank teller for many years at CIBC, a huge Elvis fan, smart aleck and so much more. Above all, she was a fighter. After recuperating miraculously from a brain aneurysm in 1991, and then an aortic aneurysm and stroke in 2008, this time would prove too much for her.

Dolores was born on October 12, 1937 in Carman, Manitoba to Rene and Anais Rebiffe - the eldest of three children. Her greatest joys throughout her life included running the bingo at St. Edwards, being a CWL member, bowling, making regular trips to Las Vegas, and playing bingo four nights a week right to the end. Her bingo gang can never replace her spot at the table.

Family and friends are welcome to come celebrate Dolores' life on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Edward's Church, 836 Arlington St., Winnipeg, with a reception to directly follow in the parish hall.

THOMSON IN THE PARK in care of arrangements.
