He was born on August 13, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York the son of the late James Reid and Alice (Kolbenson) Reid.
Russell enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served from February 1971 through December 1972.
He is survived by his daughters: Jennifer Reid and Jaime Reid; his granddaughters: Destiny Reid, Ariell Napoleoni, Page Napoleoni, Sienna Napoleoni, and Ashley Rodriguez; his grandsons: Tai Burton, Alexander Rodriguez, Dyllan Rodriguez, Justin Rodriguez, and, Benjamin Napoleoni; his great-granddaughters: Amelia Joyce Napoleoni and Meadow Rose Sample; his great-grandsons: Matthew James Napoleoni, Kahmari Barr, and Elijah james Sample; and, his cousins: April Layburn, Allyson Malfoy, Adrian Duffy, and Vincent Ginefra.
There will be a Grave-side Service on Wednesday, October 06, 2021 at 01:30 PM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
