Funeral Services for Dora Lee Baxley, 91, of Livingston will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Corrigan Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Hodge officiating.

Mrs. Baxley was born on September 24, 1930 in San Augustine to Buley and Alma (Reid) Fountain and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Livingston.

Dora was a Baptist by faith and a faithful member of Leggett Baptist for many years. She enjoyed cooking and you always got a good meal before you left her house. Taking walks was something Dora looked forward to; if you went on walks with her, you better be ready to keep up. The most important thing in Dora's life was her relationship and walk with God. She instilled this in her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family very much. She will truly be missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Earl Fountain; sisters, Dora Lena and Earline Barrow; first husband, James Claude Warren; and second husband, James Baxley; grandsons, Glen Dale Ferguson and Rex Hoeffel.

Dora is survived by her son, James Warren and wife Dorris of Lake Jackson; daughter, Virginia Green of Seven Oaks; granddaughters, Pamela Pitts and husband Mark; Ann Ferguson Seale and husband James; and Kimberly Hoeffel; great grandsons, Dale Sumner and wife Misty; and Rex Allen Hoeffel; great granddaughters, Erin Pitts, Jessica Renfro, and Shana Pitman; great-great grandson, Jerry Sumner; and special friend, Brian Hickman and a host of other relatives and friends.
